Upon arrival your tour manager will meet you at Bagdogra airport or at the sightseeing place conveyed to you in advance.
Today we proceed to Thimphu – the capital city of Bhutan. Enroute we visit Kharbandi Gompa – built by the Royal Grandmother as her winter residence. Upon arrival we visit BBS Clock Tower and Tashichho Dzong. In the evening we have free time at the local market.
Today we explore Thimphu city, we visit Royal Takin Preserve – a wildlife reserve area for ‘Takin’ the national animal of Bhutan, Buddha Dordenma Statue, and the Standing Buddha Park. Further we visit National Library and Handicraft Center. Later we visit Simply Bhutan – an interactive 'living' museum that gives a quick introduction to various aspects of traditional life in Bhutan.
Today we visit Dochula Pass and 108 Memorial Chortens also known as Druk Wangyal Chorten. Further we proceed to the low lands on Punakha valley. Here we visit Chimi Lhakhang – famously known as the temple of fertility and take a photo stop at Punakha suspension bridge – also known as the Iron Bridge. Later we enjoy a thrilling experience of white water rafting in the Punakha river.
Today we visit the famous Punakha Dzong – the second oldest and second largest Dzong in Bhutan. Further we proceed to Paro. En route we again pass by Dochula Pass. We then visit Lamperi Botanical Garden – the first botanical park in Bhutan. Upon arrival at Paro, we visit a local and traditional Bhutanese Beer brewery. The entire process of brewing will be shown and explained as we take a tour around the brewery. This will be followed by tasting of all the beers that are brewed in the Brewery.
Today we visit Chele-la-Pass – the highest motorable pass in the western regions of Bhutan located between picturesque Haa Valley and Paro Valley. Further we visit Ta-Dzong also known as the National Museum and Paro Dzong – a large dzong, Buddhist monastery and fortress. In the evening we enjoy the traditional Bhutanese cultural program.
Today we visit Taktshang Monastery – famously known as Tiger’s Nest Monastery. Clinging on a cliff at a height of 3120 meters above the sea level, this ancient monastery is a gem of Paro Valley. A trek of total 12km from Paro town. After returning from Tiger’s Nest, we proceed to the view point of Drukgyel Dzong – a Victory Fortress. In the evening we have some free time for shopping at local market.
Today we proceed to Siliguri via Phuntsholing. En route we take a photo stop at Tamcho Iron bridge near Pa Chhu. In the evening we arrive at Siliguri.
Today we proceed to Bagdogra.
